We are looking for a Technical Writer/Communicator

We are now looking for you who want to work as a technical writer/communicator in an important operation where technology, structure, and communication meet. You will create and update manuals, technical training materials, and technical documentation for complex systems. The assignment suits you who are both structured, curious, and communicative, and who enjoy collaborating with different technical roles to understand the whole.

ABOUT THE POSITION

For one of our clients in the defense industry, we are now looking for a meticulous and structured technical documenter. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in creating clear and user-friendly documentation for advanced technical products. The role is a central part of ensuring that complex systems can be used, maintained, and further developed safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for creating and updating documentation such as manuals, maintenance instructions, system descriptions, and training materials – always with a focus on clarity and user-friendliness.

The role is security classified, which means that an approved security clearance is a requirement for the position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that technical documentation is correct, clear, and user-friendly.
  • Develop and update technical documentation, including technical manuals, handbooks, and instructions according to S1000D.
  • Work with information in both Swedish and English.
  • Use STE to make complex technical concepts easily understandable.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a completed post-secondary education in technology, such as electronics, mechanics, electrical engineering, or a similar field
  • Has the ability and interest to write clearly and structured in both Swedish and English
  • Has experience working with XML, metadata, and preferably some documentation tool
  • Has Swedish citizenship as the position is security classified

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience working according to the S1000D standard
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Previous experience from a similar role within the defense sector
